Pinot Too

A blend of fruit from our young vines blended with some purchased fruit from a high elevation nearby vineyard. More immediately drinkable than our 'Estate' Pinot, this is a real charmer: soft, gently aromatic, and deliciously fruity. It drinks well now and will keep improving for at least 3-5 years if properly stored. Drink this one while waiting for our other Pinots to mature!

Tasting Notes

Tasting Date:   6/5/2005 – At our Spring Open House tasting (from a magnum): Aging beautifully, this is as yummy as a year ago, but with additional complexity and depth of flavor. No hurry, this will actually keep evolving in the bottle for a few more years.

Tasting Date:   4/4/2004 – Fairly deep, vibrant color. Aromatic nose, with cherry fruit, sweet spices, a hint of herbs and mushrooms. Well balanced, elegant oak component. Medium bodied, round, soft, gently textured, with open, ripe fruit character, good balance and length. Immediately charming and accessible, this should drink well for at least 4-6 years.
